This Week in Basecamp 005: Halloween Hauntings

Halloween is almost here, and while we can’t help you decide on your last minute costume creations, we can certainly help outfit you for the season. Entering the realm of Limited Edition shirts is our “Deadchill” design, featuring FC’s resident skeleton. Suspended in a hammock for permanent vacation, turn off the lights for this Halloween image to really come alive. Printed in glow in the dark ink, check the video below to see the shirt in action. 

FC Basecamp Event Rundown: 

Tuesday, October 27th: Join us for Fayettechill's annual moonrise yoga class. A perfect way to get centered before the upcoming weekend festivities, this class will be taught by Yoga Deza instructor, Sandra. We will meet at basecamp at 8:30 pm and caravan to Yellow Rock for an hour long yoga practice under the by the peak of the Harvest Moon. Visit here to sign up.

Friday, October 30th: Looking for something to do Friday, the night before Halloween? Look no further than Puritan Brew Co.’s “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” event full of scary story-telling, beer drinking, and other quintessential fall festivities. Fayettechill is joining Puritan to award free drinks to the best scary story-teller + you can enter the pumpkin carving contest for a chance to win one of our Limited Edition Deadchill shirts. The evening will offer Puritan’s select flight of dark beers to rejuvenate gaunt faces throughout the darkness of the night.

Saturday, October 31st: As Halloween rests on a Saturday this year, it coincides with the U of A's home football game + homecoming. Feel free to stop by the Fayettechill Trick-or-Treat Tailgate: we’ll provide the treats and a few tricks, but it’s on you to bring the costume! We’ll have trick or treat candy available for youngsters, and will provide beverages for the best dressed patrons. Haven’t tried the Fayettechill Farmhouse Ale? Come dressed in your Halloween best and you just might earn yourself a chance.

And what’s Halloween without a dance party? Andy Frasco and the gang will be bringing out the monsters in us all as he crowd surfs his way through a costumed crowd, leaving George’s Majestic Lounge shaking and quaking. Looking to simply get into the spirit of the underworld? Take a stroll through Basecamp and see what the team has done to conjure the festive spirits. Upon entering, try not get entangled by spiderwebs strewn through the rafters left from monstrous spiders that live in our ceilings. And enter the fitting rooms if you dare - the blood stained handprints are evidence left from a horrific scene encountered early one morning, still under investigation. The skeleton on the hammock was what we found inside fitting room #2.. It’s best to stay in the store though, hypnotized by the collection of new Fayettechill stickers, as the Halloween culprit has yet to be distinguished...
