Gr-ood, not excellent

I own 6 sun hoodies from merino to 100% polyester and this fits middle of the pack for me. Living at high elevation and having had some skin cancer, become an unwilling sun hoodie connoisseur.

The pro is it is very airy and light. It may be the lightest feeling of the 6 different hoodies I own and easiest to wear on a blistering hot day. I like it's domestically manufactured and uses non-petrol based materials besides the spandex, which is hard to do while making it so light and wicking.

The con, and hence the 4 stars, is the fit is incredibly baggy (IMO). I know it says relaxed fit, but the small I got fits more like a medium for me. There is no tapering really, which some folks may like the extra room on a hot day. I like my clothes slightly more tailored and have a few other relaxed cut that don't sit as baggy. I don't think sizing down would fix the issue, so I wish Fayettechill would make a more standard-cut sun hoodie. I'd buy it for the material.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
