Dorfman Pacific prides itself in being one of the largest full-line, in-stock headwear and handbag companies in the world. The company began in 1921 as Dorfman Hat & Cap Company in a 5,000 square foot facility in Oakland, California. They recently celebrated their 95th year in business at their 275,000 square foot facility in Stockton, California. However, our straw hats we produce with Dorfman Pacific are produced in a jointly owned factory in Mexico.

Not 7-3/4 to 7-7/8; NOT EVEN CLOSE

My hat size is 7-3/8, or roughly 23”. This is my SECOND ATTEMPT buying this hat; which don’t even come close on the original “OS” hat. Imagine my surprise when. I saw an XXL. Nope, nope. Not even close. Super tight. Rides high, looks goofy. Again NOT XXL. And I had to eat shipping 2x.

Ordered the regular Boquillas. Still fit a bit big and tall. I reshaped it a bit so let’s see how that works out for now.

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
